Safety Warning
A Safety Warning appears every time you start Thinklabs
Phonocardiography. Read it carefully and click to the link to Thinklabs
website to learn more. The main safety issue to remember is that when
you RECORD patients, the equipment you use MUST be electrically
isolated from Mains Power. In short, the recording equipment MUST be
battery operated, be it an iPod, mp3 recorder, or notebook computer. Do
not use desktop computers for recording. Note that for playback, when
the stethoscope is not touching the patient, you may use Mains Powered
equipment.
